End to end festival production

A date and a site at one end. A finished festival and the film of it at the other.

End to end is the whole thing. Site finding, design, build, licensing, crew, artist logistics, bar and trader infrastructure, content and the budget, delivered as one contract by one team, anywhere we work in Thailand and Bali, and through the London office in the UK, Portugal and Spain. It is the module for promoters and brands who want to own a festival without becoming a production company to run it.

What is inside

Everything in module 01 and module 02, so the stage, the sound, the lights, the power, the crew, the permits, the artist logistics, the site infrastructure and the managed budget. Then the parts that turn a show into a festival. Site finding, if you do not have one, from landowners and resorts we know across Phuket, the Andaman coast, Bangkok and Bali. Site design: the layout, the crowd flow, the sound direction, the bar and trader positions, the campsite if there is one, drawn and agreed before a stake goes in. Bars and traders built, powered and, if you want, operated. Security and medical planned and briefed. Content: a photographer and a videographer through the build and the show, drone where we can get the permit, and an aftermovie plus short clips delivered after. And marketing if you want it inside the contract, with the ticketing, the data and the audience staying yours in every case.

Who it is for

Foreign promoters bringing a destination festival to Thailand who want one partner for everything on the ground. Brands that want to own a weekend rather than sponsor someone else's. Resorts and landowners who want to host a festival on their own ground with someone else carrying the delivery. And promoters who have done it the hard way once, with six suppliers and a WhatsApp group, and would rather not again.

Where

Bare land, beaches and islands are the natural home for this module: see festival production in Thailand for what a greenfield build involves, and Phuket for our home ground. It works in the city too, for a brand that wants a whole Bangkok event designed, built and filmed, and across the water in Bali through our local partner. The bamboo and scaffold festival build on bare land in Chalong in the work is what an end to end job looks like on the ground.

Brief to strike

How it runs

Brief

Date, capacity, audience, the feel. A site if you have one, a shortlist from us if you do not.

Site and design

Survey, layout, sound direction, crowd flow, infrastructure plan. Agreed on paper before anything is booked.

Budget

One number, every line behind it, module marked. Weather days and contingency built in. You sign this.

Licence and build

Permits filed, suppliers contracted, artists' travel handled, ground works, infrastructure, then the stage.

Show

Our production manager and site manager run the ground. Your team runs the brand. Daily numbers.

Strike and content

Site cleared and reinstated. Aftermovie, photos and clips delivered. Invoice reconciled to the budget.

The three modules

Kit, then crew, then the whole thing.

Questions promoters ask

End to end, answered

What does end to end actually mean?

You give us a date and a site, or a date and a brief and we find the site. We design the festival, build it, licence it, staff it, run it, strike it and deliver the photos and film afterwards. You own the brand, the tickets and the audience. We own the delivery. It is the module for people who want a festival without building a production company to get one.

How much does a festival cost end to end in Thailand?

It is the biggest number of the three modules because it is the whole festival, from ground works to the edited film. Venue based events are less, multi stage and bare land are more, and the site, the capacity and the distance from a main road move it most. We quote it as one number with every line behind it and we hold to it.

Do you do the marketing?

If you want it. Content, paid social, the creative and the reporting can sit inside the contract, run by our team. We call it event marketing, and it covers the experiential side of a brand activation as well as the campaign for a show. Plenty of clients bring their own marketing and just want the production, and that is fine. What stays yours in every case is the ticketing platform, the customer data and the audience.

What content do we get?

A photographer and a videographer on site for the build and the show, drone where the permit allows, an aftermovie edited to 3 minutes, a bank of short vertical clips for social, and the raw footage on a drive. Delivery is 14 days after the show. It is the part most promoters wish they had budgeted properly for the year before.

Can you find us a site?

Yes. We know the landowners, resorts and venues across Phuket and the Andaman coast that have hosted before, and the ones that say yes and then do not. For Bangkok and Bali we shortlist from venues we have worked in. Site finding is part of the brief stage and it is where most end to end jobs start.

How long does an end to end festival take from brief to show?

Months for a greenfield festival, with the site and the permits as the long poles. A venue based event can run in weeks. High season sites in Phuket book out early, so if you want December to March, the conversation needs to start the previous spring.

Who owns the festival?

You do. Your brand, your tickets, your data, your money. Our name goes on the invoice and the crew shirts and nowhere else. If you want us involved in the risk as a partner rather than a supplier, ask, but the standard end to end job is a fixed price for a finished festival.

Want the whole thing built?

Tell us the date, the capacity and the kind of weekend you have in mind. We come back with a site shortlist and a number.
