Kit and stage is the first module and the one most venue shows need. You already have the artist, the audience and the venue. What you do not have is a stage that stands up, a system that fills the room and a rig somebody competent is running. This is that, as one contract, anywhere we work in Thailand and Bali, and through the London office in the UK, Portugal and Spain.
What you get
A stage sized for the show, from bamboo and scaffold decks on a beach to a steel truss structure with a flown roof, built to a wind rating and inspected before anyone stands on it. A sound system designed for the space rather than copied from a rider, with a front of house engineer who has mixed on it before and delays where the site needs them. A lighting rig with an operator, from a straightforward wash and movers to lasers, video walls and pyrotechnics through licensed operators. Generators and distribution for everything that draws current, including the parts of the site you have not thought about yet. Barriers, cabling, risers and the flight cases that carry it. And the crew: the hands that build it, the engineers that run it and the same people to take it down and leave the site the way they found it.
What it does not include
Permits, artist logistics, site infrastructure like fencing, toilets and water, marketing, and the budget management of the whole event. All of that is the next module, crew, logistics and licensing, and if you need it we will tell you rather than let you find out on the day. If you want the entire festival built and filmed from nothing, that is end to end.

How it runs
You send the venue or site, the date and the capacity, plus any rider or tech spec from the artist. We reply with a drawing and a line by line quote. On sign off we schedule the trucks, walk the kit in the warehouse, and arrive with the crew on load in day. The engineer sound checks with the artist's team, the production manager runs the changeovers, and after the last set we strike. A resort in Phuket, a warehouse in Bangkok, a beach club in Bali: the process is the same, the kit list changes.
Where it comes from

What is included in the kit and stage module?
The stage structure and roof, the sound system with engineer, the lighting rig with operator, generators and distribution, cabling, barriers and the crew to deliver, rig, run and strike all of it. It does not include the permits, the artist logistics or the site infrastructure like toilets and fencing, which sit in the next module up.
How much does stage, sound and lighting hire cost in Thailand?
It depends on the size of the stage, the system the room or the field needs, the rig and how far the kit has to travel. We do not publish a rate card; we quote each job as a fixed price with the stage, the sound, the lights, the power and the crew each on their own line. Bangkok comes in lower than Phuket for the same spec because the hire market is deeper.
Can we hire the sound system without the stage, or the lights without the sound?
Yes. The module is a menu, not a bundle. Plenty of venue shows need our system and nothing else, and plenty of resorts have a stage and need everything else. Send the venue's tech spec and we quote the difference.
Whose kit is it?
Ours in Phuket, hired through a short list of partners elsewhere, and either way it is our engineer who walks it before it leaves the warehouse and our crew who run it. The contract and the responsibility are with us regardless of whose name is on the flight case.
What happens to power on a site with none?
We size a generator for the whole show, not just the stage, with a second unit on standby for anything over 1,500 capacity. Distribution runs to the stage, front of house, bars, lighting towers and the traders on cabling that is off the ground and in weatherproof boxes. Fuel is in the quote at 35 litres per hour per unit and we do not run out at 3am.
How many crew come with it?
For a 1,500 show, a sound engineer, a lighting operator, a stage manager and 12 hands for the build and the strike. Bigger shows scale up. The crew are ours or from a pool we have used for years, and the same production manager is on site from the first truck to the last.
